The other watering cans I have are 2 gallons which, for me become difficult to hold when watering my window boxes. The window boxes are about shoulder height so holding that much water that high is pretty heavy. This one, being 1 gallon is obviously lighter so I have better control of it. I don't mind making more trips to refill.The extended nozzle is also a plus since I prefer to water at the base of each plant and this gets right inside there.It did leak some where the nozzle screws on to the can but a couple wraps of Teflon tape fixed that.It's a nice looking waterer and reasonably priced.
