I would give him 4.3 first. I have yet to install it so the labor cost can go down a decimal place. ;) So my rear view camera on my van died and I needed a new one. I decided to upgrade to a multi-camera DVR system for more coverage. I did a little research and found JOINLGO systems to be the most acceptable in my price range and with the expected features. Obviously multi-camera mode and DVR/Wifi/GPS options. I tested the system at my workplace and everything works as expected except for the monitor. The monitor isn't "bad", it's just SMALL. I know the 7 inches in this dash is actually good, but I use it for visual acuity while driving, not just for general security surveillance or viewing a single camera where it might not be as important. My ability to see different views around my car is important, and I don't have to worry about changing cameras either, so I've already upgraded the monitor to 16 inches. It works great and I can see all 4 cameras clearly without switching. The software controls and settings are nice and relatively easy if you've worked with video surveillance systems before. If not, it may take some time to get used to the interface. Although I like the interface. It's actually quite easy to manipulate and customize. One option that wasn't included in this kit and I didn't see the configuration I wanted with that option was external side cameras. I bought them separately for an additional $60 (2 total) so I have an inner dome. external right/left side and rear cameras. Everything is easy to see on a 16-inch monitor. The body of the DVR is pretty decent. I had to remove the front cover to adjust the misaligned power/wifi/etc LEDs. Otherwise, the case and the connections for cameras and external devices work as expected without any problems. A major disadvantage of the software is the camera setting in version 1.2.3. 1 upper and 2 lower displays. The top is disproportionately stretched and lopsided, so the setup might not be practical in every situation if you expect to be able to tell from reality. The software needs to be restructured to define a 1.2.3 camera setup and also to define that the top should have the same aspect ratio as a 4 camera display configuration shown in the center and the sides cropped with terrible black bars. It might not be the best solution, but the aspect ratio will be accurate.
