I was looking for an alternative to my favorite Burt's Bees because BB started using ingredients I didn't like. I wanted to find a coconut lip balm that would nourish and taste great on my lips. This seemed like a good option. I ordered and received it quickly. Sorry, weird taste. I have no idea what it is and I don't usually have a reaction to the ingredients listed, but it's there anyway. I'm particularly sensitive to fragrances, maybe that's why. I'm definitely sure this is a wonderful product, with good ingredients, it's just not my taste. Update: Having had 6 of these kids and really don't like throwing away new products when I can, I decided to use them. What initially bothered me about the taste no longer bothered me. Maybe I just wanted it to be more like Burt's Bees pear and coconut. In any case, I was more attracted to this species than the others I have (and I have many). It has a mild coconut flavor, not overpowering but definitely present. I hate using mint balms in the morning and then drinking coffee (coffee mint? No thanks), so I'm looking for non-mint flavors. This one is buttery and mild and adds a bit of coconut to my morning coffee, which is a good thing.
