I bought this diffuser as I'm getting into protriate and indoor group photography. I had an old 380EX that I used with my T3i. The diffuser worked very well for softer direct flash as well as bounce light without changing any settings on the flash. The problem, however, is that it doesn't stay on the flash. It tends to slip out of the flash as other reviewers have pointed out. Pros: -1.) Great value for money!. For an older flash like the 380ex, that seems like a lot. 2.) Diffuse the light with softer direct flashes as needed. 3.) The material is similar to the much more expensive diffuser. Disadvantages: - 1.) Cannot be switched on without additional "help" (a piece of crane is also sufficient) Conclusion: - The device did what it should. So it didn't stay on all the time, but that's easily fixed with a piece of faucet. I was hesitant to give this item 3 stars, but the fact that it works and is value for money gave it 4 stars. I would recommend it to others to buy, with the caveat that the problem has to be solved with one button press. DMAN
