Diffuser dome is great for softer highlights. This does not affect the color of the light. 4 stars because it doesn't fit as close to the flash as I would like. It doesn't fall off easily, but may fall off with a lot of exercise.

Actually bought three of these lenses for Nikon SB-24 Speed Lights. This size is perfect for a Nikon flash. The SB-24 is an older Nikon flash but it's quite powerful and I use it as a second flash to light big subjects like a big wedding. The diffusers are the same and deliver the same light output from all three domes.

I wasn't expecting too much from this diffuser but as it was cheap I bought it just for fun. Maybe later I'll get a Gary Fong Dome or something, but I was pleasantly surprised at the difference that this diffuser makes it easier to get the right ambient light. It also warms up the shots so they don't look disgustingly sticky like burned out flash, they're warmer and shadows are less visible. The item arrived quickly and in good condition.

Works well for what I bought it for. It softens the somewhat harsh light from my Canon 380EX. But the diffuser cover is not fixed. He often fell with just the slightest concern. I see that others have had the same problem. But things got a lot better after just attaching some velcro. I attached a small piece (0.5" x 0.75") to both the inside of the diffuser cap and the outside of my flash. Since then I do not have problems anymore.

Fits my old Canon 380DX great, although as other reviews have mentioned it tends to slip off if left unattended. I bought this diffuser as I'm getting into protriate and indoor group photography. I had an old 380EX that I used with my T3i. The diffuser worked very well for softer direct flash as well as bounce light without changing any settings on the flash. The problem, however, is that it doesn't stay on the flash.
