This scooter comes mostly assembled, all you have to do is snap on the handle and attach the pedals. The grip was easy and the petals were mostly light. One of the leg straps had the pre-drilled hole not quite lined up, so the screw wouldn't go through to screw it in. Luckily my husband was able to drill through and fasten with a drill. Aside from the first mishap with the pre-drilled hole, it was fairly easy to assemble. There is a stand, but it's very difficult to lift, so I'm not even allowed to use it. Maybe Wd40 can fix something. This scooter makes a robust impression. It definitely takes some getting used to. I think it will be a hit with my daughter and her cousins. I'm glad I took the risk, good scooter!
