It was easy to put up a large and heavy wall. It's on a mosaic mirror I hung over the fireplace. I didn't know how to hang something that heavy or big, and I knew there wouldn't be a hairpin where I needed it. So it looked like a good solution with weight distribution along the length of the hanger, it seemed like it was safer to hang. The wall mounted piece has a plane to make it easy to hang and the piece for the back of the picture was easy to stick on and the back of the mirror was wood so it screwed in perfectly. Assembly consisted of simply placing the part in the rail to keep it level and secure by simply hanging it. I had to do all of this on a 12 foot ladder, so I needed to use something relatively easy to use. Will use this system again for large and heavy paintings. I recommended this system to a friend who has a large painting hanging over the sofa and she also found it easy to set up and use.
