For the price you would think that the screws and fasteners absolutely necessary for assembly are included. You are wrong. 4 small pieces of equipment cost about 10 cents. It doesn't come pre-installed on my computer and isn't just lying around. But it's not in the bag it comes in (which really should be at least an electrostatic bag, if not a foam-lined box). It's not annoyingly difficult to open the small box. It is not glued to the back of the sleeve. If you don't have this equipment handy, the product is literally useless as is. To be honest, it doesn't say it's part of it. But really? Come on. This is necessary for the product to work at all! If IKEA is doing well without being in your industry, what are you even doing as a company? Because from IKEA I not only get more useful storage (of course it's a different kind of storage). But they will include hardware and tools to assemble anything I buy from them. That's ridiculous. They don't sell the fridge without anti-tippers. You can't sell a car without a gas cap. But it's comparatively worse. Because it's more like a refrigerator with a door that won't close, or a car where the front wheel on the driver's side keeps falling off. You have to insert these cards at a 30-degree angle, and there's some sort of spring mechanism that twists the card back if it's not screwed down. The motherboard manufacturer has done its job. Both an M.2 slot and a screw stand are available. The rest is reasonably up to the people delivering the products to enter that slot. But luckily for me, Revain came to the rescue. Because they just sold me more gear than I really need (or likely ever will need) for an additional $12 afterwards. So $12 more than I expected and a few days more shipping time. In fact, I have to add another $10 to the aspirin I have to buy to get rid of an undeserved headache. I don't know, maybe PNY is really good. But I didn't know because I didn't get past installing the product before the product started having problems. So I don't have high hopes that this negligence won't spread to other aspects. I guess I may have to wait a week to find out, although I needed the memory update yesterday.
