Review on NETGEAR WG111 Wireless USB 📶 2.0 Adapter – High-Speed 54 Mbps by Alan Massey

The wg111 wireless connection is a handy little device. We use it to connect our laptop to our WLAN router in the next room, which is about 10 meters away. Communication is reliable, although not very fast. The only real downside to the wg111 is that it gets pretty hot, so it's probably speed limited. I bought mine from Revain after a few days of "testing" at a local retail store. (I got the connector for half the price at the Revain.) I have to say that the newer model from the boxstore ran a lot cooler and a little faster. It also came with more modern software, so after when I returned it and installed what I bought from Revain the current software was already installed. It's pretty easy to install and the included connection monitoring software speaks for itself. If you are looking for a reliable and affordable solution, then this is the one for you.
