Instead of using the rubber strips Desinged to secure the bag to the handle bars , use a Velcro strip with pre glued backs , wrap strips one for each side of the Handle bar ( hook ) and the loop side of the Velcro to the inside of the bag mounting bracket ,Strips 1 inch wide should work ( they can always be cut to size , Velcro strips are made to hold 10 plus pounds ,the mounting bracket will not slide or move after the screws are tightened ,This is a nice bag , i just bought one ,,, I like the quick release ,I don't have to leave expensive tools with the bike , I can take everything with me via a shoulder Bag. 🚴🏻🚴🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
