Bought for our 70lb English Black Labrador this summer. The cable seemed well made, so we gave it a try while hanging out in the garden. My dog was tie free in minutes. Nothing broke, just not attached anymore. I thought maybe I hadn't attached it to the collar properly, so I tried again and this time observed her more closely. She rolled onto her back and the spring clip just popped open under the pressure of her rolling. I won't risk my dog's safety so we threw him away. I am currently using the LupinePet 3/4" Basics 30ft Extra Long Training Leash/Leash for medium to large dogs. I have had a lot of experience with this brand and the clip works well. However, this is a leash, not a leash, so you won't be leaving it unattended I hope BV will solve the problem with their videos In the meantime we are still looking for clip zip ties that actually work.
