Review on 💾 ORICO 5 Bay USB 3.0 to SATA Chia Hard Drive Enclosure | 80TB (5 x 16TB) | RAID Support-9558RU3 by Trevor Bannister

I wish I had given this case so many chances it's now too late to send it back for a refund. It's nothing but trouble for me. The fact that it has positive reviews baffles me; The only possible explanation is that the quality is just very inconsistent and I (like many other reviewers here) got a bad one. I bought a 2 bay case to use for backing up my desktop computer. Insert two clean Western Digital hard drives, both working properly as internal drives. But I've had cases where backups would fail before they were complete because the external drive suddenly became inaccessible; I had backup data disappearing from an external drive; and more often than not, one or both of my hard drives just became inaccessible. I've tried low level formatting of both drives but the problem persists. This case is clearly less than useless for backup purposes. In fact, it's less than useless for any purpose. And the Orico website won't help; This case isn't even pictured on it, and there's no link to tech support. I'm happy for anyone who has had a good experience with this corps, but from my personal experience I'd advise everyone to avoid it like the plague. A complete waste of money.
