These accessory sets are designed specifically for Ferret Nation and Critter Nation cages. I bought an accessory set of 2 that includes the ramp covers, pot cover and shelf covers. The ramp and pot lids are very easy to put on, but the shelf lids are not. Rather than slide on lids like other lids, you slide the lid over the pot and then use Velcro to secure the lid to the shelf rails. It's easier if you place the lid on a flat surface, then the pan, then the shelves, then alternate sides as you attach. However, the velcro is tough and once cut me while attaching it. I'd rather the manufacturer just make the shelf covers overhead like the others. I think I'll rip the stitching on one end and remove the velcro to keep it in place. Ultimately, these covers fit well even after washing and drying at high temperatures. I would not recommend using them unless your animals are potty trained as they get dirty very quickly. The Critter Nation cage comes with ramp covers, but I've found that buying this kit is still a cheaper option than just buying the shelf and pot cover separately. Also, your rats will gnaw on it. Just accept that the rats don't care how much you spend on their stuff, they'll gobble it all up and eventually you'll have to replace them.
