Do not be shy; Highly recommended
It worked straight away with our Sony TV and the buttons were the same as the original Sony remote. At the same time I bought a Sony OEM remote control in case it didn't work. We really like this one BETTER than Sony. Sony has moved a few buttons in the latest version and our muscle memory just can't get used to it.
