Pads adhere well and hold items in place. HOWEVER I have placed one on the dashboard of my SUV and one on the center console of our Prius and whatever chemicals are manufactured or treated left a permanent stain on our SUV dashboard and the Prius console material is badly deformed and the material looks like warts on it now. I have tried everything to remove the stain on an SUV dashboard but to no avail. I'm not sure what to try on the Prius console. I'm afraid it may be permanently damaged. Just make sure you place those spacers where you don't mind damaging the underside.
