I've been waiting for something like this for a few years. I have a 2014 328xi and as much as I love this machine I found that it only has a wired connection and no Bluetooth for media! When I got back to the dealer I asked about adding the BMW apps and they said it was basically impossible. I even looked for ways to retrofit my car for this feature and it was prohibitively expensive. So for a few years I dabbled in less than stellar Bluetooth to FM adapters and all sorts of gadgets that never helped. Stumbled upon this bluetooth adapter by accident, read the high review and decided to give it a try. However, I was a bit shocked by the price of 80€. When the item arrived I plugged it into the included Y adapter and connected it to my phone. 5 seconds and everything worked great. I now have multimedia access to my center console and it works the same as my wired connection, allowing me to receive media through my car's native controls - all via Bluetooth. I was expecting the programming for this to be a bit buggy, but to my pleasant surprise I had no problems. When I get in the car, the device automatically syncs and continues playing. If you're using a non-Apple product like Spotify, the center console will display the song and artist, along with controls for the next song.
