I don't know why someone writes that they don't do anything. I believe some people might install it wrong. They have excellent customer service. I left the negative on my battery overnight and the next morning when I started I had trouble finding the right spot to locate the two wires, I contacted them and they patiently helped me figure out I never got to the mechanics was inclined. After installation, I gave it time to reprogram and smooth the system until it purred like a kitten. I feel a lot more traction when I hit the gas a lot. Shifts are quick and hit harder. My car has a turbo and now with the chip I can turn off the traction control and not only spin the tires when starting, but also put it in second gear. I couldn't before. My wife is afraid of electricity. She's afraid of losing control. I would highly recommend this and if I get a new car that they have a product for I will buy it quickly.
