They are great for traveling and I've recently added some makeup/skincare for everyday use. However, I would like to warn you that once filled, you may not be able to simply pump the air out and receive the product. After a lot of pumping, the bottom of the bottle didn't seem to move. The suction was not sufficient. How did I fix it? There is a small hole at the bottom. You can either wrap your lips around the neck of the bottle and blow into it forcefully, which will move the base forward and suck the sea in more. or you can take a thin, long object (e.g. an open paper clip) and manually push it forward. It's plastic, not glass, which isn't a problem for me. It's stuck on a few trips so far, TSA hasn't had any issues with it in my carry-on, and it looks great on my makeup bag for everyday use. However, they are not easy to clean and some items are really difficult to get there. This may or may not be a deal breaker for you.
