I bought a 2018 Power Wagon a few weeks ago and was extremely disappointed with the performance. I didn't want to unlock the PCM and potentially void my warranty, so despite mixed reviews on YouTube (some very positive, some negative), I settled on Pedal Commander. I was told this part would not void the warranty (use your own judgment) so thought it might be worth a try. If he could get rid of the feeling of softness in the gas pedal, I would be very happy. When I received it, it only took a few minutes to connect. I don't think I've ever experienced such an easy installation of a product. Simply disconnect the small wire harness at the top of the gas pedal and connect the power command between the wire harness and the disconnected wire. If you don't trust the warranty, you can disconnect and reconnect the Pedal Commander in under a minute and no one will notice. With my 2018 Power Wagon, I noticed the difference immediately. It didn't eliminate all lag, but most of the lag between pedaling and accelerating was gone. For the first time since I bought the truck, I could actually spin the tires on tarmac. As far as I know, this is how the Power Wagon should have been delivered. I've had Ram trucks before and they've always been very responsive. I don't know why they put such a sponge pedal on the Power Wagon. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't like the smooth throttle on their Stock Ram. If I wasn't worried about voiding my warranty I would unlock the PCM instead. That's enough for now. I'm very happy with the results.
