Upgrade an AT-LP120XUSB player with this head and pickup body. This increased frequency response at all sound levels, and clarity was noticeably improved at lower volumes through my large vintage speakers using the phono inputs on my amp. The head body required no adjustments and matched perfectly with the original cartridge I was replacing. It was about 2.5 grams heavier than the original headshell and pickup, so the arm had to be balanced and set back 2 grams. I would recommend this as an exceptional upgrade for this player if you are using larger speakers. The VM520 pen can also be upgraded as it wears out. The box it comes in is also handy for keeping your old headshell safe.
