Well the base is strong and holds up well, USB ports work but I haven't tried the cigarette lighter pass-through yet. holding a phone. I mean right now it "works", but it's very free and very cheap. There are many unnecessary customization features that make tuning difficult. Your attempt to complicate a part that should have been simple just leaves it where I can't set it up the way I want and it doesn't hold the phone very well at all. It should just be a noodle with a clip on the end. For example, why does the part holding the phone come off at both ends? The top part can just fall off for example, it doesn't matter if the clip holds if the base of the clip can just fall off as it has a trigger function which isn't very important to turn it on. Just make the lever/clip that makes the phone easier and more reliable, it lowers the cost of production and makes it a better product.
