The Alexa integration played an important role in my purchase decision. I was able to get some of the Alexa functions working (using a basic skill for LG on Alexa), but you can't turn on the TV with Alexa. It seems like an exaggeration to say that a product is Alexa-certified if the main function, turning on the TV, is missing. I checked with LG support that the TV won't turn on via Alexa. I returned the TV and bought a similar Sony model that specifically states that Alexa can be used to turn the TV on, along with other standard features you'd expect. If you're not keen on the Alexa integration, this could be a decent TV, but you're left wondering about the overall technical quality of the product. The menu navigation didn't feel intuitive, and the setup process wasn't the best in the short amount of time I've used it. I hope LG recognizes that the semi-implemented and difficult-to-use Alexa integration will lead a dissatisfied customer to choose a competitor that appears to have a more consistent IoT strategy.
