henna hair color is new to me. My goal was to tint my eyebrows because they are starting to turn gray. This product comes with no instructions so I did a lot of google searching and came up with a plan. While there are various ways of mixing henna on blogs (acid additives, waiting times), I finally decided to follow Ancient Sunrise's guide. This henna is packaged in a ziplock bag and is a fine powder. It seems to have the "right" smell and the color of the powder is consistent. No noticeable impurities. The powder mixed easily and the result was a homogeneous paste with no granules. After 24 hours the henna paste looked like it should. (According to photos by bloggers). I've experimented with indigo powder and found the two-step process to be more effective. The dye is permanent and appears to be holding up well. Know yourself before you embark on your henna journey. , a time consuming process so I will only do this for the eyebrows when more gray appears. This is an effective product that gives good results. However, being stingy with my time, I'm sticking with the "painted" brows for now because it's much easier, even if it's not permanent.
