As described. for hair dye

henna hair color is new to me. My goal was to tint my eyebrows because they are starting to turn gray. This product comes with no instructions so I did a lot of google searching and came up with a plan. While there are various ways of mixing henna on blogs (acid additives, waiting times), I finally decided to follow Ancient Sunrise's guide. This henna is packaged in a ziplock bag and is a fine powder. It seems to have the "right" smell and the color of the powder is consistent. No noticeable…

A natural hair coloring solution used by many cultures for years!

# My Review This review is for Nutra Pure Henna Natural Color Hair Color Conditioner. Henna is traditionally used in many cultures in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. It has been used to dye hair, paint on skin, and more recently, tattoos. Henna is derived from the henna plant and can vary in color so you need to be careful what kind you use; In this case, using this brand alone will give you an orange result, but you can change that by adding other ingredients such as ground coffee, oils…

Excellent real henna suitable for henna

I have been hennaing my hair for over a year using a large cheap bag of pure henna from my local Indian shop and I love the result. I decided to try another brand of henna. This powder is different from the cheap stuff I've bought: it's finer so it mixes into a smoother paste that's easier to apply. It appears to be real, pure henna. This is important because some products sold as "henna" contain many other strange ingredients. There are no instructions on the packaging. The Tapdancing Lizard…

Exactly as described!

Corresponds to the description. Looks and smells like I've been told henna should be grassy or earthy. He's green too. I mixed some with espresso coffee and let it sit for 24 hours and then did a test batch on the hair which I pulled out of my comb. I would definitely order this product again. No more harsh and harmful chemicals

Works great, good color payoff

I henna my hair about once every 6 weeks and have tried many brands. As a general rule, I believe if you are looking for 100% henna powder from a reputable source, you can shop for the price. This product had excellent color release using my "quick release" method (mix color with hot water, stir, then place in a warm oven (like the heating pan or oven I used previously) for 1-2 hours and is now off). It works well and did what I expected. However, I shop by price and have found that many…

How I use it +

I have been using natural henna to cover gray hair for about 10 years. The more gray I have, the redder my hair looks as it ages (thanks to henna). If you have never used henna it will take a little time, but if you want to avoid chemicals, use this material. Here's how I do it: Pour about 1/2 cup (more or less depending on hair length) of henna into a glass or ceramic bowl with a lid. Open the hot water tap. Add some coconut oil (about 1-2 tablespoons). Add some hot water. stir. Too thick? Add
