# My Review This review is for Nutra Pure Henna Natural Color Hair Color Conditioner. Henna is traditionally used in many cultures in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. It has been used to dye hair, paint on skin, and more recently, tattoos. Henna is derived from the henna plant and can vary in color so you need to be careful what kind you use; In this case, using this brand alone will give you an orange result, but you can change that by adding other ingredients such as ground coffee, oils, etc. First of all, this henna is packed in a sachet that can be reused after opening. There was a distinctive earthy smell upon opening the sachet, which gets stronger when you mix it with other ingredients and make it into a paste. The product description describes this product and how to use it well, so I won't repeat myself. It is considered a good hair conditioner and can make hair stronger, thicker and shinier. You need to be careful as it will stain and take time to fade. This is how we used it. We turned the henna into a paste by pouring enough powder into a bowl and mixing coffee as a base. As mentioned, you can add additional ingredients to boost the color, so we added some olive oil for extra conditioning. Satisfied with the texture, which should be thick and dense, we left it in the sun for at least 24 hours to intensify the color. The paste was applied to strands of hair and left on for a few hours before washing off. Again, be careful as the paste will drip and splatter as you apply it. It should be noted that this can get very messy, takes longer to dry and can be scattered everywhere. Once the hair is adequately covered you have to be very careful where you put your head and also remember that it will stain your clothes. Using a shower cap helps. The end result will be different for everyone. In general, this is a normal natural hair color, but it takes a lot of preparation, time and patience to get it.
