As an alternative to using dental floss, we decided to purchase the device after getting the recommendation from a dentist. The equipment lives up to the expectations placed upon it, since it effectively cleans (I use half the power). It does an excellent job of removing any trace of food that may be stuck in between the teeth, but the only place you can use it is in the restroom. Gaining experience is necessary if you use a significant number of splashes. In general, I would recommend that you purchase the equipment; however, you should be aware that brushing your teeth in the typical position while looking in the mirror will not produce the desired results.
