First of all, the aquarium toys were packaged so well that when I took them out of the box they were in perfect condition. All toys have a maritime theme. There is a lighthouse, a sailor and a submarine. All parts of the aquarium are smaller, so they can be placed in smaller aquariums, rotated, or assembled into a medium or large aquarium. The lighthouse has good details. Particular attention was paid to texture and coloring. Lighthouse bricks, grass and even the pavement have good texture. The colors are more neutral and natural: cream, black, rusty red and green. The submarine is my favorite piece of the set. Reminds me of a yellow Beatles submarine. It has yellow, orange and red paint on it. The sub's orange panels even have a metallic sheen, giving it nice size and added interest. There are a total of six holes for the fish to swim through and come out. Because they are on either side, it's easy to swim in one direction and disembark in the other. There is also enough space inside the sub to hide and sleep. Finally, there is a sailor or lighthouse keeper. It comes equipped with binoculars, a treasure chest, and a sailor's hat. It's a little smaller than a lighthouse. It also has many colors, textures and designs. All in all it is a nice addition to our aquarium. Of the three parts, only the submarine can be used as cover. It integrates aquarium decor and creates a fun theme. There are many colors and textures to add to a neutral ground breed like ours. For cleaning, I made sure to soak them before putting them in the aquarium. Flushing would probably be fine, but it felt like an extra safe move. To clean the aquarium, the company recommends simply rinsing it out and not using soap so nothing gets into the aquarium.
