Review on πŸš— Elevation Solutions: Enhancing Car Door Camera Stability with the Eckla Eagle Support by Joe Duncan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy, durable and lightweight construction.

Fits my car door perfectly, adjusts to the width of the door and slides in and the panel adjusts to the length of the armrest. I screwed my gimbal head directly into the plate screw and after our bad weather clears up I'll test it outdoors. It looks very solid and has a solid and lightweight build. It also doubles as a beanbag platform to support my smaller lens. . I was concerned that if used outdoors it might scratch the car door from the outside, but each end of the panel that rests against the door has a hard plastic coating over the metal parts to prevent scratches. Eckla Eagle comes with a carry case. A well-designed and simple tool for mounting cameras/lenses and camcorders, spotting scopes. The head of my gimbal has vertical height adjustment that allows me to slide it up so I don't have to bend my neck down. I would add that I can use it mounted inside with my zooms but not with my large lens. Since I'm tall and can't move to the right to make room, I'm forced to use the device from the outside, just with my large lens. If you have a truck or older car that allows you to pull off to the right you'll never have space issues, you can also move your seat all the way back, but that doesn't help with larger lenses if that's what you're aiming for are cars on the left side. If you're tight, you might not have a problem with the number. I expect to use the Eckla Eagle installed outside most of the time. Where I photograph is mostly dirt roads, but you can see cars approaching or driving by, in time to roll up the window to avoid dust on your camera. attach it to the door.
