I haven't used this product in many years, but I had a situation where I had to glue a relatively large piece of lightweight cardboard (10" x 6") to the chipboard. I tried using a glue stick but the paper was bent and stuck unevenly. I think a large area would be difficult to remove with double sided tape. I had a few similar product sheets left over from a previous project. They worked well so I went to buy more. Michaels charged over $5 for TWO sheets of the same product. Anyway, that's how I ended up here. These sheets are perfect for my project. The paper stuck tight and smooth. Of course there was no time to dry. some things things Things to keep in mind if you've never used a product like this (I think others have mentioned some of these too) -1) This stuff is VERY sticky. If you are using tiny die cuts I would use the thickest paper I can and be careful when removing.2. If you plan to use one sheet for multiple items I would cut the glue dot sheet into appropriately sized pieces and then remove the top cover to reveal the dots only when you are ready to use it for a specific item. Leaving the glue dots open makes them more likely to stick to something. 3) As I mentioned above, there is no drying time. Once you glue something, it goes nowhere. others also mentioned some of them) -1) This stuff is VERY sticky.
