Review on ๐Ÿ”„ Enhanced SEO: PSI Woodworking PKMSTS1 Live Tailstock Mandrel Saver - #1 Morse Taper by Kristen Simpson

It's not worth it.

The mandrel holder hole is a little big and the further I get from the headstock the more the spring head moves. When I rotated the part of the tip that was closer to the tailstock, I had a lot more hits and it just made the whole rotation harder. But when I turned a part that was very close to the headstock, it became very smooth. In fact, I could wiggle the end of the mandrel in the mandrel mount. This in turn resulted in the knobs not matching the hub 100%. But I bought a heavy duty tailstock and all problems were solved. I would definitely recommend using a powered tailstock and being careful not to bend the mandrel when pushing it. It just works better in the end.
