For reference I'm 5ft 9in, 135 lbs. on the squat and the middle one was too loose in the leg and didn't give me a secure feeling in the squat The material is very soft, like a cotton blend. The husband said that all 4 of these colors do not crouch. The bright black and white stripe and checkered medium suits me perfectly. They feel like a soft nylon blend. The middle black stripe is my favorite. slightly thicker material than others and doesn't roll on me at all. Any of these colors will work if you're not crouching. They all look great, fit and feel great.
