Does the job in USB to USB adapters

I had to buy these for my MacBook. Works well, just for a very long time. They stick out a lot and my otherwise fancy laptop looks like a fossil. After a few weeks of use, one of the cuffs began to shift, making it difficult to tell if it was actually connected or not. I'm not sure if that should move or not, either way it's a design flaw. I would not buy again.
