I have a new desk with a nice 3/4" thick top. This seems pretty standard for desks. The description of this product states that it is on will fit a "maximum 4.1" table. I assumed anything below that would work. In my opinion, the C-Clamp is defective and the screws are too short. Even if my table were thicker, I don't think so that the C clamp would work. I put a thick book between the clamp and the table for fun. Clamp C would not be stable even if I had an unusually thick table top. Not worth it.
