The first thing you'll notice when buying it is the quality - the disc itself is metal and looks very solid. I also liked the packaging, it looks really high quality. For example, you can't directly copy a folder from a drive to iCloud Drive (or Dropbox) - the app can only work with local storage or export files individually using the "Share" button. If a third-party app is an obstacle for you, consider getting an iPhone microSD adapter instead - they work directly with the built-in Files app and you can easily plug the card in anywhere, so they offer essentially the same functionality. .
