Not happy with it, documentation needed

Response to MakerFocus Raspberry Pi4 Camera IR, Raspberry Pi4 Camera Night Vision Fisheye Camera 5mp OV5647 IR-CUT Automatic switching between day and night vision. very happy with the purchase of this camera. I bought a camera with IR_Spots specifically for a project that requires day and night (no light) photography. First, the camera works great in day mode. The camera does not work well in low light conditions. There is a very faint image and I suspect the IR spots will need to be adjusted for more IR light. This is the reason for my dissatisfaction with the camera. There is no documentation for the camera, and the answer to a question I asked on the Revains webpage about setting up IR spots didn't help. Please note that the adjustment screw is very small. When trying to turn a screw, there is hardly any tactile feedback. Without knowing exactly, it's 330 degrees. Turn the bank, 5 turn bank or 20 turn bank, I'm not willing to turn the knob to see what happens. Of course I can mess up the device. At the very least there should be a link somewhere in the sales literature to the data sheets for both the camera and the IR spots.

Pros
  • There's something to that
Cons
  • Vulgarity
