Review on HUAWEI Watch GT 2 (42mm) - AMOLED Display, 1 πŸ•°οΈ Week Battery, GPS, Heart Rate Monitor, Night Black (International Model, No Warranty) by Kichiro Diaz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturer's assurances, high quality.

Everything described below is my subjective opinion. I have been using the watch for about 2 months, charged 3 times during this time. For me personally, it is important that technologies work for me and I do not become their slave when I constantly need to charge my watch. The watch in terms of autonomy is very cool. With 3-4 workouts per week for 2 hours, they live 12 days. It is very convenient that while running, the watch reports how many kilometers you have run and the current heart rate. Incoming SMS and messages from messengers are displayed. Being able to reply to a message from the watch is for hipsters or lazy people. It's really inconvenient to type something on a small screen. It's easier to get a phone. The lack of NFC is, of course, sad. I would love to be able to pay. In my opinion, this module is soldered on the clock, it was simply disabled programmatically. Many scold that the animation is not smooth. If you please, find an animation competitor with a similar autonomy. There is no such. This is a natural step to achieve low power consumption. In my opinion, this is the best watch at the moment.

Pros
  • Great screen Excellent autonomy (12 days) Built-in speaker and microphone Moisture protection Sleep quality monitoring Lightweight, hardly felt on the hand
Cons
  • Not enough skins for watch faces Lack of NFC Doesn't sync with phone's address book
