Review on HUAWEI Watch GT 2 (42mm) - AMOLED Display, 1 πŸ•°οΈ Week Battery, GPS, Heart Rate Monitor, Night Black (International Model, No Warranty) by Agata Dmochowska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My impression of the purchase is good, buy it.

This is my first smart watch, so I can't compare it to others. In general, the purchase is not disappointed (except for the pedometer). The watches are cool. But don't expect much from them. This is not a medical device, this is not a sports watch. It's just a cool toy. It does not irritate, but there is almost no sense from the huge declared functionality. I wear 2 months. Didn't scratch. I bought a dozen straps and a protective glass in China. Glass with black bezel. Fits great. Even when you bring the watch to your face, it is impossible to consider that this is a sticker. Made cool. But! I was not able to paste the glass without bubbles. If bubbles are easy to kick out from under the glass of a smartphone, then here it doesn’t work out in any way. Unfortunately I had to take it off.

Pros
  • Stylish, beautiful watch. Battery Choice of straps fast charging
Cons
  • 1. watch faces. There are really a lot of them. And they look great in the picture. But as soon as you set it on the clock, the charm disappears. As a result, I was able to pick up three decent pieces for myself (none of which satisfies 100%) 2. Functions - toys. Oxygen in the blood measures very approximately (compared in the clinic with a medical device) Calories count - crooked. For example, climbing stairs does not increase calorie consumption, the watch counts them as if you were walking on a flat surface. Sleep monitoring - a toy for three nights. What to do with this information, and what is its value and accuracy - is not clear. Etc 3. The most bummer is the pedometer. I woke up, went to the toilet, washed, dressed and left the apartment (5-10 minutes). Shows 700 steps. Seriously?! I put MiBand 4 on my hand. I walked with two devices for a couple of hours. Huawei roughly doubles the number of steps. 4. Strange menu and instructions. For example, where is the flashlight and did not find. The instruction does not shed light on this issue, because. it's some crooked google translation 5. The quick access menu is not configured, screens are not configured. The functionality is very limited. 6. The battery with the olweiss display turned off lasts a week (not 14 days, as they say) 7. The turn-on function only works when there is a sudden movement. You have to move your hand. 8. The "sleep mode" and "screen on" functions work strangely (do not work?). What time I would not ask in these paragraphs, the clock goes out the same way - after three seconds.
