Tested this by setting it next to a glass window. It was NOT outside, but even a 15 year old handheld garmin could lock satellites in this location. This thing never got more than 3 satellites, and never locked. This hardware would have been okay circa 2004, but in 2022, this is unacceptable.Took it completely outside, and it was able to lock and give accurate readings. I don't know if it needs a bigger antenna, or what, but I cannot recommend it.Software configuration was okay, and it worked with every piece of software I tried with it. It returned decodable NMEA data correctly showing no lock, so there is that.
