Used it for a week, was skeptical based on some of the reviews I read about it. The fairly solid controller doesn't flex or feel like it's made out of cheap plastic, and all the buttons feel pretty solid too. It took some getting used to pairing it with the Switch as well as my Samsung S10 phone and computer, but once I figured it out I had no issues, but I'd recommend updating the firmware as soon as you get it. Updating the firmware is very easy and simple, download the firmware updater from 8Bitdo website, very easy and simple plug and play, click update and you're done. The only thing I didn't mention in the guide is turning it off, which can be a chore if you're having trouble pairing with your device, but you can always turn off the controller by just holding Start/+ and within Turn off for 2-3 seconds regardless of whether it is in pairing mode or paired with a device. The battery life and charging time is 1-2 hours and 16 hours of playback. As for any lag time, it might be 1/10 second less initially, but after updating the firmware I didn't notice any lag in the controller at all. I love this controller. The Super Nintendo is ultimately my favorite system and having this for Switch and PC is by far the coolest controller, but that's just me. In terms of working with the Switch, it works pretty much like standard Joy-Con controllers. I haven't found a game that doesn't work with it, it has all the buttons that joy cons have as well as motion controls that also work as well as cons of joy, the only downside is that it doesn't have built in NFC which I fully support agree. If you love NES and SNES, 8Bitdo did a damn good job with these controllers. Must have for that nostalgic feeling in the new system.
