There are two major design flaws. The base of the coil, which must fit the topmost branch or branches of the tree, is so wide that the topper cannot stand upright. We'll probably need to wrap it with cloth or something that can cushion the extra large coil. But even if this problem can somehow be solved, we still have an issue with the heavy battery hanging from the star, which pulls it down and tilts it in whatever direction you hang the battery. Even if you have a tree with very few branches at the top, there is nowhere to "hide" or "set" the battery, and it will be visible wherever you place it.
