I really like this shut down indicator. I bought it to replace an old one that needed a new battery but didn't want to spend $12 on a battery. This emergency light has a modern design. It is lightweight as it uses a removable 3.6V 1000mAh Nickel Cadmium battery which is also used in cordless phones. That should be enough for 3-4 years. It consumes 0.01 amps and 1.7 watts. Each light head contains 12 LEDs. They rotate and can aim in one direction. The light color is bluish white. Diffuse light is like a spotlight. I tested the runtime twice and it lasted 3 1/2 hours on battery power. What I don't have at home. In one of my photos you can see I drilled a hole in the bottom and added a cord with a plug on the end. So I could just plug it in and mount it on the wall whatever I wanted to do with it.
