These are steering gear bushes to fit 2nd generation Escort vehicles with power steering. (I have both a '95LX and '96LX.) The picture they use is not a picture of the actual parts. Of course, the steering's response to steering wheel inputs is quicker, but you do get a bit of road bumps that are transmitted back to the steering wheel. If you want to feel what the car is actually doing, I think that's a lot more important than arm bushings.
