Has been brushing my dogs teeth for years. I usually use peanut flavored toothpaste and when it ran out I tried this toothpaste. My dogs don't usually mind when their teeth are brushed, but now when I want to brush their teeth, they WALK and they can smell it. If your dog is new to brushing his teeth, it's best to start with something he enjoys (something tasty). I will use up this toothpaste as my dogs are used to brushing their teeth but once that is over I will return to the flavored option - I prefer happy dogs who are not attempting to give up brushing.
