It works and my chihuahua doesn't mind the taste at all. I used to use Nylabone toothpaste but it upset my stomach. Top Performance contains mild abrasives and mostly natural ingredients. It helps reduce plaque on your teeth and soothe your gums. I use a toothbrush with it and it no longer fights me when I brush my teeth (almost every day). I also use Jet Pet Oral Care in the evening. Very happy with the ease of use and the result.

This toothpaste has a mint flavor and my two dogs seem to like it. Item was shipped and delivered within 2 days as promised. It doesn't lather too much when I use it and both of my dogs kept licking it while I was trying to brush their teeth instead of trying to get away from it, so I took that as a good sign! One of my dogs has horrible breath and only a cleanser helped him breathe (didn't solve the problem but made great progress!) I'm excited to see how the product works long term!

Has been brushing my dogs teeth for years. I usually use peanut flavored toothpaste and when it ran out I tried this toothpaste. My dogs don't usually mind when their teeth are brushed, but now when I want to brush their teeth, they WALK and they can smell it. I probably like this toothpaste better than my dog. I used chicken flavored toothpaste but my dog was more interested in eating it than letting me brush his teeth. I also didn't like that the taste of chicken left my dog with a smelly "chicken breath". After trying Prodental Gel I will never go back to any other look. Slightly strong. smells almost like human toothpaste. like a light mint. It works out. I have to use it sparingly because my poodle almost got sick one day I think from the baking soda, but if you use very little it won't have that effect, or maybe if your dog is bigger than mine she can handle a bit more.
