Older The surface lasts, but the power supply wears out. The tips of the universal clinkers, which are now available cheaply, do not hold well, do not stick, release tension and are short-lived. While still $6.99, this allows you to use many different blocks inexpensively (just read the fine print and you'll see: 15V at 3A and you're good).
