Review on 🏋️ Soothfeel Women's High Waisted Athletic Gym Workout Shorts with Phone Pockets and Liner - Ideal Running Shorts for Women by Ralph Gerry

I love the color and fabric of these shorts but hate the fit. I originally ordered a large size and found that despite my attempts to smooth it down, the front didn't fit and had unflattering lumps. I wear a plus/size 12 on other shorts/pants all the time and based on the size chart this should be the right choice. I then increased the size to XL but they still folded the same. My hip size is about 42 inches, I don't really understand how a large size would fit large hips. Having tried size XL I would definitely say that it runs very small - it should fit sizes 16-18 and I would definitely not recommend it to anyone who wears even a size 14 regardless of body type. I personally don't find the belt uncomfortable, but my waist measurement is smaller than the plus size and I prefer a fitted waist in my clothes. The first photo I attached is large and the next is x-large. I'm not sure if these shorts will look any better on different body types but personally I thought the cut was terrible and as much as I wish I would like them I really wouldn't recommend them.
