Review on 12V Waterproof LED Porch Light Interior Lamp - 300 Lumens for RV, Truck, Trailer, Automobile, or Utility by Adam Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost perfect, just a few adjustments.

This light was purchased to replace a tiny lightbulb that 'was supposed to' illuminate my trailer steps. This light produces much more light but uses less energy than the old light. At a low setting I had to mask the inside of the body and the top edge of the lens to reduce flare. I used foil tape that is sold for sealing heater ducts. When I bought this it was only available in clear and I really wanted an amber light at this point so I ended up buying amber lenses from Camping World. It was the perfect match. Now the steps and the surrounding area are well lit and I feel much safer. Would give five stars if the body was more opaque or lined to eliminate glare and if I could buy an amber lens too.

Pros
  • Waterproof - 18 5050 LEDs with protective coating - 300 lumens - 4500K color temperature
Cons
  • Slightly torn
