Less Sugar + More Electrolytes. The taste could have been better, but in our case it was worth the persistence. Husband works without air conditioning in freaking hot Texas, sweats 12-16 hours a day and wakes up every night to the blazing heat. Leg cramps despite ingesting gallons of soda and similar sports drinks. He had to swallow salt water to relieve the spasms, and then he developed diarrhea. Now, after drinking just a gallon of water mixed with 4 packets, he has survived two nights in a row without cramps after sweating profusely all day. We also added another product to the mix (Hydrant ENERGY) that helps him maximize electrolyte absorption by taking the pack first thing in the morning. In between, he recovered from the sweat and reduced his cramps from 90% to 100%.
