Great CCTV test box with a few minor issues.

Disclaimer: I received this item free of charge so that I can provide an unbiased review. I'm very happy with this device, I've run numerous tests over the last two weeks and it performs well in almost every task. .Pro: 1) A multifunctional tester that is not only useful for checking camera systems, but also excellent for checking/viewing AV equipment via HDMI and VGA connections on anything from a streaming box to a raspberry pie. An added bonus is the ability to check Ethernet cables and make sure they're connected properly. 2) Good screen resolution for this size. It's crisp and clear, and the audio is loud enough for most tasks. 3) Works great with PTZ camera systems I've tried. First there was an old Sony camera, and the automatic detection system was able to find the channel. The camera movement worked great and unlike the original DVR it was connected to I was actually able to use the camera's 5x zoom system. 4) The battery life is around 2-3 hours, so it's perfect for most tasks. 5 ) Beautiful case with all the accessories you need for CCTV, PTZ and Ethernet testing. 6) I didn't think the built in LED indicator would be handy, but I was wrong. This is great for finding the right cable on the back of the DVR. I was going to get a flashlight but then I remembered it has a built in :) 7) No problem with HDMI to watch video on cable or satellite boxes full screen and sound up to 1080P but I couldn't no 4K Find 30fps signal for reviews. Anything that is 4K 60FPS and causes the device's resolution to drop to 1080P. It's still a very sharp picture on a screen of this size. 8) The ethernet tester is slightly better than the typical ones you will find as it shows the speed of the cable. PPOE connection. You know what's going on, but this device is so beautiful I just wish it was the complete package. 2) At first I was overjoyed that there is a physical switch to turn off the device. I figured it means almost no battery drain when it's off. Unfortunately something still works as the battery has still lost the bar during five days of inactivity. 3) Finding PTZ addresses can be a bit confusing and the on-screen description is poorly worded. You need to know the protocol, port type and baud rate of the camera and after they are selected you can go to the channel and select "Scan + or Scan -". One simply increases and the other decreases. Once it starts scanning, just keep looking at the image and when it moves on its own, highlight the channel and then manually select that channel. Conclusion: Simply a great tool for working with video surveillance and working with video in the field. Everything feels solid and the controls and picture quality are great.
