Review on Chic & Sustainable: Discover Vera Bradley's Recycled Stained Medallion Handbags, Wallets, and Shoulder Bags for Women by Paula Reid

Unusual quality by Vera Bradley

I'm keeping the bag because I like the pattern, the price was great and the bag is good enough. However, Vera bags are usually better than the good ones. Always a top product. Another reviewer mentioned that the bottom isn't as flat as the older Vera Tote models, which is true. The price was much lower than the VB website so I'm wondering if this is a second factory or what? It seems like the inside is polyester instead of cotton, but that might be a plus. It's easier to wipe up spills inside the bag than to wash the entire bag. I like the size, not too big as I tend to repack when I have space, yet it's roomy enough for what I really need. Lots of inner pockets to organize my stuff. The front zip pocket has room for keys, lipstick, or maybe a card holder, but not a full-size wallet. Coupons or just small change that you take with you during the day and have to be stowed away somewhere can be stowed in the attached front pocket. The back patch pocket is perfect for a cell phone. I like the way the back patch pocket works. Almost a secret pocket. I would give 5 stars apart from the bottom issue. Like all Vera bags, it holds a lot more than meets the eye and is lightweight and easy to transport.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
